1936 Hammond Organ model A ser# 2147
Here is a Very Nice Hammond A built in 1936. The Cabinet on this A is in Great condition for it's age. There are a few chips around the back by the cover and some crazing of the finish. I would rate the cabinet a solid 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The original Bench and Pedals are in great condition and are included. This Organ plays as well as it looks. All harmonics sound on all keys as well as the pedals. The Tremolo is in working order and the Organ is wired for an H type Leslie ie..21H,31H,22H,122,142.etc.. There is a Leslie Half Moon switch mounted and wired on the organ for speed switching. This Organ would make a nice addition to any church, home or studio. The A's do not have the complex tonewheels on the first 12 fundemental harmonics and the manuals are wired so they go all the way down like the pedals. I am pairing this up with a 31H Leslie as it is the best Leslie suited to bringing out the Deep Bass of this Organ. Click on the Thumbnails below to Enlarge them
1949 31H Leslie Speaker ser#5869
Here is a great sounding 31H Leslie with a series 2 amp. This unit came to me semi rebuilt. I mean that it had been recapped before I got it. I replaced the relay with a brand new one made by CAE sound. I would rate the cabinet a 7.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 as there is a deep scratch in the front that has been stained to help hide it. This Leslie has the original Jensen Hypex driver and Magnovox speaker. The amp will come with a new set of output tubes. The rotors and motors have been cleaned and lubed. This Organ and Leslie will come with a good 6 pin to 6 pin speaker cable and a new ac cord and is ready to play as is right now. Click on the Thumbnails below to Enlarge them
